Become an Agent With us

The Freight Broker is primarily responsible for developing relationships with existing and prospective customers. They will need to familiarize themselves with each existing and prospective customer account, identifying the customers needs and finding solutions and proper trucks to transport their freight from one place to another in a time efficient and cost-effective way.

To be successful in this role you will need to develop and grow relationships with transportation companies and assist in optimizing their fleet. Through this fast-paced, high-energy role you will continuously be making an impact on the logistics supply chain every day.

The Freight Broker will also be responsible for developing new and existing carrier relationships, building strong relationships with trucking company key contacts (i.e. owner-operators, dispatchers, and drivers), and maintaining constant contact with carriers to secure additional truck capacity and manage existing business agreements while sourcing/negotiate market appropriate rates.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years transportation specialist experience

  • Transportation sales experience.

  • Excellent communication and organization skills.

  • Ensure shipment details are accurately communicated and tracked in the system.

  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively across the company.

  • Positive attitude in an ever-changing environment with shifting responsibilities.

  • Detail-oriented with strong prioritization and multi-tasking skills.

  • Exceptional conflict resolution and negotiation skills.

  • Experienced in Microsoft Excel.
